CentOS 5.10 released

For customers running CentOS 5 on their Virtual Servers, a new release has just been announced which includes mostly bug fixes and security updates but also a few new packages.

The full release notes are here.

The biggest change affecting Anu customers on CentOS 5 is that MySQL 5.0 is being deprecated in favour of version 5.5. Future updates will only be released for MySQL 5.5, so we advise customers to upgrade. If you are running CentOS 5 and would like to upgrade MySQL to 5.5 please contact Anu support for assistance.
