Price list adjustments effective 2023-01-01

This is nobody’s favourite topic given inflationary pressures, and we’ve held off as long as we possibly could. As a business just like many out there we’re not immune from the global headwinds.

Unfortunately effective 1 Jan 2023 we are having to make a few adjustments to our price list to reflect the current exchange rates, energy markets and incessant price increases we have had to absorb from almost all of our suppliers over the past year.

We’ve really tried to keep things to a minimum. For example Web Hosting Small is going from £8 to £9 per month. Hosted Email 1 mailbox is rising £0.50 per month. Our managed server base price is rising from £42 to £49 per month, but we’ve kept all add-on services like additional RAM, CPU cores, storage and IP transit the same. For a copy of our full price list please use the “Download our price list” button on our What We Offer page.

Updated prices will be reflected on your 2023 invoice(s). If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Chris Wik.

[Complete] Scheduled Maintenance: Hosted Email upgrade

In order to increase capacity and improve performance of our Hosted Email service, we will be migrating to a new storage system hosted in our Amsterdam 1 datacenter. The initial data copy and testing has been completed, and we are now ready to perform the productions system migration. Unfortunately this work will require a disruption of approximately 2 hours. In order to minimise inconvenience, we will be performing the work during the night starting at 2022-12-07 01:00 UTC

During this time, inbound email will be queued for delivery, but access to mailboxes via POP3/IMAP will be unavailable.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

[Complete] ams2-c7-1 & ams2-c6-1 Migration

We will be migrating ams2-c7-1 and ams2-c6-1 Direct Admin servers from our Amsterdam 2 facility to Amsterdam 1.

This will be taking place on the 9th January at 10PM Amsterdam time – we estimate that this will be complete by 10th January at 2AM, 4 hours in total.

ams2-c7-1 currently runs on this public IP: and ams2-c6-1 runs on:

We will be issuing each server a new public IP address. ams2-c7-1 will run on: ams2-c6-1 will run on:

All customers who are using ams2-c7-1 ( / ), ams2-c6-1 ( / ) or ns1/2/ will automatically have all DNS records pointing to the old IPs updated on their behalf.

We will forward traffic from the old IP to the new IP using a dumb proxy at the TCP/IP layer until Monday 30th January 2023 at approximately 12 noon.

We will run a scan to identify and proactively contact all affected customers where we do not have the ability to update DNS records ourselves. We advise that customers do this soon after the migration is complete to ensure the highest levels of performance and stability.

We are going ahead with this migration as planned. Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances we are revising how long we will be forwarding the old IP until, from 3rd April 2023 at 12 noon, to 30th January 2023 at 12 noon, sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please also note that we will be maintaining the naming structure of these servers, ams2-c7-1 / ams2-c6-1, even though they will be housed in Amsterdam 1.

The migration was successful. ams2-c6-1 and ams2-c7-1 are both now back online in Amsterdam 1. All DNS records we control have been updated. IP traffic from the old IP addresses are being forwarded until 30th January 2023 at 12 noon. We strongly recommend any DNS you control are updated as soon as possible for optimal performance and stability. We will proactively reach out to customers we find using the old IP addresses over the next couple of weeks.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing any time!
