[Unscheduled] Xen node failure

Incident start time: 2017-09-15 05:00 CET
Incident status: ongoing
Fault: Xen hypervisor failure on ams2-xen-4-2

We are currently working to restore all affected virtual machines to other Xen nodes. As of 09:00 CET most VMs are back online but some larger images are still copying.

No data has been lost but some services are still disrupted.

A system reboot of the Xen host ams1-xen-2-2 is required.

Time window: 2017-08-28 20:00 CET, duration approximately 10 minutes.

Roundcube Webmail Upgraded

Hosted Email clients who use our Roundcube Webmail service frequently should notice that the interface has changed very slightly and will now generally respond much faster and provide a smoother experience.

Roundcube 1.3.0 was released on the 26th of June (https://roundcube.net/news/2017/06/26/roundcube-webmail-1.3.0-released). We have upgraded Roundcube to this version and also migrated to newer hardware (an Intel Xeon CPU powered server with modern SSD disks) and upgraded the software stack (PHP 7.0.20, MySQL 5.7 and Apache 2.4.26). We are committed to keeping our products up to date, fast and secure.
